Advent Christian Village is accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC), an independent accreditation commission sponsored by the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.
Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability
As a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), Advent Christian Village follows high standards of Christian ethics in fundraising, financial accounting, and reporting. ECFA is an alliance of over 1,100 evangelical ministries committed to responsible stewardship, financial integrity, and God-honoring practices.
Advent Christian Denomination
Advent Christian Village was founded by the Advent Christian Church in 1913, and maintains close ties with the Advent Christian denomination. As a member of the National Association of Evangelicals, the Advent Christian Church believes in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and focuses on the imminent return of Christ to establish His kingdom. The Village Church is affiliated with the Advent Christian denomination, however eighteen different faiths are represented among its regular attendees. All are welcome to attend the church, just as all are welcome to apply for membership to Advent Christian Village.
FAHSA
The Florida Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (FAHSA) was established in 1963 as a Florida not-for-profit corporation. Its purpose is to provide leadership, advocacy, and education for retirement housing and nursing home communities that serve the needs of Florida's retirees. FAHSA is committed to assisting its members in providing the highest quality of services possible to the residents they serve. To accomplish its purpose, the association provides up-to-date information, education, representation, group services, and networking as well as prompt, efficient service to the professional staff of its member communities.
Christian Camp and Conference Association
Driven by the need to solve common problems and gather new ideas, several regional groups of Christian camp and Bible conference leaders in the United States and Canada began to meet informally in the late 1940s and early 1950s. These independent coalitions later combined their efforts under the name Christian Camp and Conference Association International, and eventually incorporated in 1963. Today, CCCA is the largest of 18 autonomous associations on six continents.
