Many people fear that a parent, spouse or other loved one will develop dementia. We observe them forgetting names, appointments or misplacing their keys and our anxiety grows. Many people believe this forgetfulness indicates Alzheimer’s disease, but that may not be the case.

The Village Church Welcomes New Senior Minister
The Village Church at Advent Christian Village welcomes Dr. Timothy Setzer as its new senior minister. “Pastor Tim,” his wife Holly and son Caleb moved to Dowling Park from Waterville, Me, where he served as pastor of the Blessed Hope Advent Christian Church for the past 18 years.

Recently, The Village Church held its annual Vacation Bible School, with 38 young people in attendance from age 4 through the 7th grade. The theme of the week was “High Seas Expedition,” focusing on the missionary journeys of Peter and Paul and the truth of God’s Word.
