A Day of Honor
Six ACV World War II veterans got the honor of a lifetime, when they were privileged to visit the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. The men are Robert Boyd, William Ellis, Wallace Hamilton, Edgar Melton, Earl Morton and Lew Walters.

The members of the Watkins Hobby Shop Club are reaching out with their skills. They have adopted a Christmas Toy Project as their annual community outreach. The woodworking shop hobbyists make handcrafted wooden toys.

It was an old fashioned hometown fair atmosphere at Advent Christian Village on April 24 as the Dowling Park community gathered for Spring Fling, a day of fun, food and fellowship. An added plus was that it benefitted a good cause.
