“Volunteers Build a Better World” was the theme of the 2010 Volunteer Appreciation reception held at ACV recently, with nearly 200 of the 258 ACV volunteers present. Craig Carter, President and CEO agreed with the sentiment of the theme, but added, “Volunteers also build a better Village.”

It was an old fashioned hometown fair atmosphere at Advent Christian Village on April 24 as the Dowling Park community gathered for Spring Fling, a day of fun, food and fellowship. An added plus was that it benefitted a good cause.
