Admissions Standards

The resident must be at least 60 years of age and meet the State of Florida nursing home admission guidelines, as ordered by a physician.

Alzheimer’s Care

The staff of our specialized wing provides the best and most currently accepted standards of care for persons with dementia. The interior design and adjoining outdoor courtyard permit members to move about the wing in protected freedom.

The Good Samaritan Center is a 161-bed Medicare/Medicaid skilled nursing facility that becomes home to our residents. Our health and rehabilitation center has an outstanding reputation for providing quality care with compassion in a pleasant atmosphere. Good Samaritan Center has been highlighted on the Consumer Reports list of the Top 10% of nursing homes in Florida. Our medical staff consists of a Physician specializing in Geriatrics, a Physician Assistant, and our excellent team of nurses.

Physician Services

A medical doctor and physician assistants are available on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can be sure the high standards of physician services is provided under the watchful eye of our medical staff.
Under the direction of the resident’s physician, a care planning team develops an individual plan of care for each resident. The resident’s needs are the focal point of all planning, with input from both the resident and the family.

One Rate

Our daily rate is an all-inclusive fee, with no additional charges for medical supplies and other items commonly charged separately. At Good Samaritan Center, one rate pays for room, meals, nursing care, and supplies.

Restorative & Rehabilitative Services

For residents requiring intensive rehabilitative services following a stroke or surgery, our aim is to return each resident to his or her highest level of function.
