Craig A. Carter Is New ACV President and CEO
Mr. Carter begins new role September 1, 2008
DOWLING PARK, FL—Craig A. Carter will begin his new role as President and CEO of Advent Christian Village on September 1, 2008.
James L. "Jim" Humbles advised the Board of Directors of his
retirement plans two years ago, in order to give
ample time for the search for his successor. On behalf of the ACV Board of Directors, Chairman W.C. Nickerson made the announcement to the Village community that current Vice President for Resource Development, Craig A. Carter has been chosen as the succeeding President and CEO.
Nickerson stated, “The board conducted a nationwide search for potential candidates, prayerfully considering the future of Advent Christian Village, and after meeting with him, we came to the unanimous and clear decision that Craig Carter is the best candidate for the position, and will serve ACV well as Jim Humbles’ successor.”
Craig Carter and wife, Vicky, have been married for 20 years, and have three children, Adam, Timothy and Lindsay. Craig has been employed by ACV since 1992. He is currently Vice President for Resource Development and Marketing. His areas of responsibility include: Resource Development, Marketing, Public Relations and the Conference and Retreat Center. Craig officially begins his role as President/CEO on September 1, 2008.
