Thank you for visiting ACV’s Web site.
We’re glad you stopped by and hope that you will spend some time getting to know us. Since our founding in 1913 as an orphanage and home for “worn-out” Advent Christian ministers, the central purpose of Advent Christian Village has been to demonstrate Christ’s love and compassion to others in a meaningful way. Much has changed since those early days, but Advent Christian Village is still a special place where people respond daily to God’s call to help those in need. At the heart of our mission is the desire to meet the needs and ensure the well-being and best interests of our seniors, families, and children.
Today, more than 800 members, resident staff and their families call this special place home. Several hundred more find services and care through Camp Suwannee, the Village Church, Copeland Clinic, Copeland Community and Wellness Center, and special events such as the Artist Series and Winter Retreat. I know of no other retirement community that opens so widely its doors to friends in surrounding communities. We are blessed by their presence. Advent Christian Village thrives because so many support this important work, and we are grateful for the individuals, families and churches that respond to the call.
A Web site can only tell you so much, and we invite you to visit Advent Christian Village to see for yourself what a difference a caring community can make.
