Job Description:

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)**

• Perform therapies as directed by occupational therapist
• Monitor patient progress; modify treatment plans as needed for prescribed outcomes
• Establish / maintain patient records; consult with occupational therapist as needed during treatment
• Schedule and prioritize workload to fulfill organization and patient treatment needs
• Monitor supply inventory; alert supervisor when supplies are needed
• Ensure safety and maintenance of program area and equipment
• Contribute to the education, learning, and orientation programs for other personnel and students
• Strict confidentiality guidelines apply
• FL OTA certification required**
