105th Anniversary Capital Campaign

Help ACV Keep the Commitment

We are pleased to announce the 105th Anniversary Capital Campaign—Keeping the Commitment. This $1.5 million dollar campaign focuses on three areas: renovations at the Village Square, completing funding for Johnson Hall—the new assisted living center and enhancing access to the Suwannee River. Memorial and honor opportunities are available for gifts starting at $5,000, on a first come, first choice basis.

This will be a unique campaign. In addition to the components listed above, we are including critical infrastructure and upkeep projects across the campus.

These include everything from exterior updates to current structures and road paving to upgrading the nature trail.

We are excited to announce a new way to honor donors who generously support these infrastructure projects. An attractive new donor feature called Cornerstone Park will be built near Lake Aquilla. We gratefully acknowledge Bill & Marty Nickerson for providing the funding for this area in memory of Anna Nickerson. Donors who give toward non-traditional projects and infrastructure updates at $10,000 and above will be honored at this special park.

The anchoring feature of the park will be a large granite cornerstone set at the apex of a triangular walkway. It symbolizes that Christ is our Cornerstone. On either side of the cornerstone, four large granite stones will provide panels to display the names of these donors. A water feature will flow into a small pool at the cornerstone and also appear at each granite stone. The flowing water symbolizes that Advent Christian Village’s generous friends are its lifeblood, as they share their resources for the benefit of others. Along the walkway, benches and arbors offer a place to sit and reflect.

Anyone supporting the 105th Anniversary Capital Campaign with a gift of $1,000 or more will be recognized with their name on a paver in the walkway of Cornerstone Park.

We need your help. Please consider pledging your support to one or more of these important projects. Pledges may be paid on a schedule that you establish—preferably within three to five years of the date of your pledge.
