Ministry donations throughout the year provide necessary funding for ACV’s vital ministries—directly helping people. Gifts of all sizes make a real difference and impact the lives of those in need. Also, your charitable donation can be made in honor or memory of a loved one.
Great care is taken to ensure all charitable donations made to Advent Christian Village are used the way the donor intends. Gifts that are not designated provide help to those served by Advent Christian Village.
Senior Adults who have outlived their resources: ACV members with limited income and assets are offered assistance with the necessities of life such as housing, meals, and services offered at ACV. All this is done confidentially with the goal of protecting the dignity of the individual.
Families in Need: Families are served in a variety of ways. Advent Christian pastors are offered a place for respite when needing refreshing and respite from the burdens of ministry. Families in crisis and single-parent families often receive counseling and assistance getting back on their feet.
Children: Children’s ministries continue at ACV. Adventure Camp provides foster children with an opportunity to heal from the scars of their turbulent lives, a chance to fellowship with peers dealing with the same issues and to learn positive ways to cope. Leadership Development Training offers high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to hone their leadership potential and develop an ethical foundation for the lives and careers. Camp Suwannee, ACV’s youth camp provides the camp atmosphere that is so effective in reaching youth with positive messages of hope and faith.
As a non-profit faith-based organization, Advent Christian Village reinvests earnings into its mission of expressing Christ’s love through service to others. ACV is first and foremost a ministry, serving people from all walks of life. Throughout a century of ministry, generous friends have given to ACV making possible its ministry of compassion.
