At Advent Christian Village, our senior living activities are designed to create engaging experiences for everyone in the community to enjoy. That’s exactly what the Live! at Dowling Park artist series accomplishes. This series has offered a variety of performances right in the heart of the Village — a unique opportunity to see amazing performances featuring music, dance, drama, photography, and even comedy from local, national and international artists — affordably.
Season passes and individual tickets may be purchased from the ACV cashier (386-658-5343). Individual tickets will also be available at each event. Individual ticket prices are listed with each performance’s information. Season pass information is located below the following event information.
The legendary Birmingham-based band Three on a String has been performing for more than 55 years. They have traveled a half-million miles across the U.S. and Canada to perform in over 20,000 shows. They have opened for two presidents, and the band is an original member of the Alabama Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and also an inductee into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. They have brought their unique blend of music and comedy to ACV three previous times and are a regular request by residents who have attended one of their shows in the past.
Kevin Sharpe (often known as K#) is regarded as one of the nation’s most accomplished concert pianists. Critics have praised his artistry, noting his precise touch and strong individual voice, and audiences have long been captivated by his expressive performances. Sharpe has earned numerous distinctions throughout his career, including being named a Fulbright Scholar in 2006, receiving a State Touring Grant from the State of Florida, and winning the top prize in the 1991 Johann Sebastian Bach International Piano Competition. He is preparing an engaging Mozart program, showcasing the clarity, elegance and brilliance that define his interpretive style.
Trio Rodin — featuring David Pedraza, viola, Ciprian Stancioi, clarinet, and Sheng‑Yuan Kuan, piano — is an international ensemble whose members hail from Mexico, Romania, and Taiwan. Based in Southeast Florida, these acclaimed musicians have earned numerous awards and perform widely across the U.S. and abroad. They appear regularly with leading regional arts organizations including the Symphony of the Americas, the Palm Beach Symphony, the Florida Grand Opera, and the Miami City Ballet Orchestra.
Veranica and Her Amazing Dancing Dogs burst onto the national stage on America’s Got Talent, where the then‑12‑year‑old third‑generation performer wowed the judges with her high‑energy choreography, clever quick‑change magic, and the remarkable precision of her expertly trained poodles. Today, Veranica shares that same charm, showmanship, and crowd‑pleasing talent across the country.
David zum Brunnen brilliantly portrays Charles Dickens on stage, slipping seamlessly into various roles throughout the narrative to bring the genesis of the holiday classic to life. The story blends the heartwarming essence of A Christmas Carol with the historical backdrop of how Dickens fought to pen a story that would permanently reshape Christmas traditions.
Melissa Vasquez is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and a versatile performer whose career has included featured roles at The Holy Land Experience in Orlando and a place in the opening cast of Festival of the Lion King at Hong Kong Disneyland. A worship leader, actress, teacher, and cabaret artist, Melissa uses her theatrical training to help others grow in faith and creativity, sharing the love of God with humor, heart, and her signature one‑woman shows.
Carrying forward the musical legacy of the famed von Trapp family, Elisabeth von Trapp has earned acclaim for her crystalline vocals, expressive musicianship, and captivating stage presence. Her concerts blend classical finesse with modern warmth, offering audiences a rich tapestry of songs ranging from sacred hymns to reimagined standards. Each performance is crafted with grace, authenticity, and a deep love for the power of music to move the soul.
Hoggtowne Bronze is an advanced handbell ensemble from Gainesville, Florida, celebrated for their expressive musicianship and polished technique. Performing on five octaves of handbells and chimes, they deliver a dynamic repertoire that ranges from classical transcriptions to contemporary works. Their performances showcase both the versatility of the instrument and the ensemble’s remarkable unity. An Italian buffet will be served following the performance.

Advent Christian Village offers season passes for those who wish to attend all or most of the upcoming performances. ACV season pass holders not only receive an overall savings when attending all of the Live! at Dowling Park artist series performances, they can also take advantage of the reciprocity agreement between ACV and Community Concerts of Lake City and attend the five 2026-27 concert season performances in Lake City at no extra charge.
Educator and family passes are also available.
