Job Description:

• Supervise day-to-day operations of child care facility
• Maintain positive and caring childcare environment where children feel accepted and valued
• Maintain standards of safety and cleanliness to foster growth, development, and well being of children
• Develop and implement plans for teaching, play, meals, snacks, naps, and other daily hygiene needs for children
• Develop rapport with children and parents; work with parents as appropriate for special needs requests
• Maintain confidentiality; maintain recordkeeping requirements; successfully pass regular DCF surveys
• Ensure staff training is current and accurate
• HSD or equivalent required**
• FL DCF childcare director certification required**
• 2 or more years day care center management experience strongly preferred
