Advent Christian Village’s donors play a key role in making ACV such a unique community. Our supporters give because they believe in our mission of providing compassionate care and services to seniors, families with special needs and children. Their gifts are investments to help us continue our mission, and we believe they deserve special recognition.
Advent Christian Village is deeply appreciative of all gifts, no matter the amount. One of the ways we say thank you to our faithful donors is through our recognition societies.
The President’s Council honors the generous individuals who have given $1,000 or more during the previous calendar year.
The Village Builders’ Guild recognizes those who have faithfully supported Advent Christian Village with cumulative gifts of $5,000 or more over their lifetime. Within the Guild, donors are recognized as they move from one level of giving to the next.
The Perpetual Builders’ Guild is a special group of people who have chosen to leave a gift to Advent Christian Village through their will or another deferred gift.
Our Capital Campaigns involve memorial opportunities and an honor roll for those who give at a certain level.

Six months out of the year, we call Maggie Valley, North Carolina, “home.” But when the leaves change and the chill in the air returns, we hurry south to our Advent Christian Village home. We began giving to ACV soon after we became members. We feel a responsibility to return our excess to the Lord’s work and enjoy doing so. We know where the money is going when we give to ACV.
