Jennifer Raulerson, RN, Director of Education

The occupation of caregiving in a healthcare setting requires special knowledge and specific skills — both of which must be demonstrated in state examinations leading to certification.

Nurse Jennifer carries the important responsibility of training new staff as they first come into this line of work. She has an outstanding record measured by “pass” rates on state examinations for the students she teaches.

She also has a great reputation among her students. When some of them were asked to comment about their teacher, the first reaction was always a radiant smile. Then they went on with “Awesome,” “She invests in her students,” “Wonderful,” and one student used one of Jennifer’s own words: “Bombdigitti!”

The co-worker who nominated her for this award included (among other compliments), “Aside from being the Director of Education, she often comes in on weekends to assist with staffing needs and works on the floor completing CNA tasks.”
