Rachelle Highland, CNA

Rachelle began her Good Samaritan Center experience about a year ago as a student in the Certified Nursing Assistant training program at GSC. After successfully completing her studies and passing the state examination, she joined the staff here and became recognized as one who sees her role not merely as something to do for a paycheck, but as an opportunity to give compassionate care to elders.

The two nurses who nominated her for this award wrote, “As nurses, it means a lot to have a CNA whom you can depend on. She goes above and beyond to take care of the residents on her hall. She is always willing to do whatever we ask of her. She keeps the hall tidy and neat. She cares for the residents as if they were her own family members. We truly love having her on our unit.”
